How We Can Help

You seem to be “doing alright”. You may have your wife/husband/partner helping out.
Why would you pay someone else to do your bookkeeping?

  • Do you invoice regularly? Not just when you can, or when you remember, but regularly and consistently? Remember, invoices = money!
  • Does your bookkeeping take you away from other important things? Like working on your business? Spending time with your family and friends? Doing what you love to do?
  • Are your ATO compliances becoming an issue? Do you know your BAS from your IAS? How about your TPAR? Your STP ? WorkCover, PRT, Superannuation… the list goes on.
  • Have you previously missed out on certain tax write offs? Are you aware of all you can legally claim?
  • Are your books up to date? Some of the time, most of the time, never?
  • Your sales are up, but your cash is not. Where has it all gone? Why is it going?

If you feel as if you need help with any of the above, then please contact us! We are here to help.

Why hire a registered BAS Agent?

A BAS Agent spends time and money every year doing seminars, webinars, workshops, courses and other educational activities like research, writing and presentations, so they can do the best job possible. As of March 1st 2010 the ATO regulated the bookkeeping industry. As a result, all bookkeepers providing a BAS Service must register with the TPB. Your BAS Agent needs minimum qualifications, 1400 hours experience, a Cert IV in bookkeeping, PI insurance, a professional membership and ongoing study.

In the past, a bookkeeper could do a software course or a short bookkeeping course and start charging for their services. Due to their lack of experience, they often left a mess. As a result, the client could do nothing except find someone else to fix it. This can be expensive and emotionally draining.

If you are concerned about the condition of your data file or not sure if you’re up-to-date with the ATO, we can help. During our initial business health check, we can let you know exactly where you stand.
